It can be a major pain trying to get your hair clean when you're dealing with dreadlocks-but don't worry, below are some easy steps that will help!

Things you'll need:

-Shampoo

-Conditioner

-A toothbrush or comb

-Rubber bands

-A towel

Step One: Wet your hair. This is probably the most important step, as it will help the shampoo and conditioner to do their job.

Step Two: Apply shampoo to your hair. Be sure to massage it in so that it can reach all of your dreads.

Step Three: Rinse your hair thoroughly. This is key, as you don't want any soap residue left in your locks!

Step Four: Apply conditioner. Again, be sure to massage it into your dreads so that they're fully coated.

Step Five: Let the conditioner sit for 5-10 minutes. If you're in a hurry, you can skip this part but it will be better for your locks if you take the time to do it!

Step Six: Rinse out the conditioner. You want to get all of that residue out.

Step Seven: When your hair is wet, try to work some small sections apart with either a comb or your fingers. This will make it much easier when trying to dry them!

Step Eight: Take some rubber bands and place them around the ends of each dreadlock where they meet up with other dreads or with your scalp. This will help speed up the drying process by trapping moisture inside of the dreadlock rather than allowing it to escape into surrounding hair.

Step Nine: Let your hair air dry. This may take a while, but it's the best way to go!

Step Ten: Once your hair is completely dry, remove the rubber bands and use a toothbrush or comb to gently fluff up your locks. You're now ready to show off your beautiful dreads!

So there you have an it-a a simple guide on how to wash dreadlocks! Just be sure to follow these steps and you'll have clean, healthy hair in no time.
