How prevention is one of the most important ways to maintain good health. If someone values prevention as a way to maintain good health, what would you expect them to do?

According to the article, "Valuing Prevention" by Melinda Smith, prevention is one of the most important ways to maintain good health. So someone who values prevention would do something that they can in order to prevent diseases or other medical conditions. This could be avoiding certain foods that are harmful to their bodies; exercising on a regular basis; or wearing protective gear while engaging in risky behaviors. For example, if someone is biking often they should definitely invest in a helmet to prevent head injuries, or if someone smokes they should cut back or stop smoking completely.
